Senior Upholsterer

We are looking for a time served upholsterer for one
of our clients based in Scunthorpe.
The company predominantly deals in the
production of furniture for both the domestic and contract/commercial
market.
The successful candidate will have experience of working as a senior
upholsterer either on the development side or in a team leader capacity.
Experience of traditional and modern upholstery techniques is essential and
understanding of the stages before and after the upholstery itself i.e. frame
building, cutting and sewing.
The successful candidate will be to advise on
the build ability of new models and input at early design stage using their
experience of furniture production to provide feedback on the frame structure,
foam and fabric covering techniques. The candidate must be used to working this
back to templates that can be used to produce the pieces on a larger scale for
the shop floor.
Following submission of a CV the client would normally
request an interview to discuss the role further.
Pay - £10 per
hour.
